"Rise like lions after slumber, In unvanquishable number. Shake your chains to earth like dew, Which in sleep had fallen on you. Ye are many, They are few" SHELLEY

No Truer Words....

I beg all of you to watch this video, here is a man who, through all his obvious imperfections, recognizes pure evil when he sees it. Watch, vote, and pray, pray to whomever you wish, but pray of above all.

Your Secret is in a Deep Well

"We come from beyond, and go from whence we came. We are bound by nothing so much as our imagination."

I love this quote, from a print I have, by an artist whose name I disremember at the moment. I would love it more, however, if it were factually accurate for everyone. I try my hardest to live by it's intended message but find that often, like most of us, I am bound by more than my imagination. I am bound by memories, by preconceived notions, by prejudices, and wounds that haven't quite scarred over. I am bound to friends whose coping mechanisms have been ground down to nothing, and to acquaintences who couldn't possibly hope to know from whence I came. It hurts me deeply to know that there are some so wounded that they cannot possibly open themselves to the potentially good things in life, and I hope I am strong enough to avoid becoming one of their ranks. For life is beautiful, even at its most ugly, pain makes the best paint, and suffering the smoothest canvas. To borrow another quote, which I do so often......I love all of you. Hurt by the cold. So hard and lonely too, when you don't know yourself. My friends are so distressed, and standing on the brink of emptiness. No words... I know of to express, this emptiness. I love all of you....(R.H.C.P.)

Irony

And Then I Remembered...

"He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God." (Aeschylus)
